Twitter co-founder Biz Stone and his former Twitter colleague Ben Finkel have launched Jelly, an app that uses your social networks by searching them to ask questions and receive answers.
Essentially, the app acts as a search engine that is used only with a user’s social networks. Billed as a ‘new way to search’, users are supposed to submit questions within the app, which will then be answered by friends or followers in their existing social networks.
Furthermore, if the user’s question remains unanswered by his or her social networks, the user will have the option of submitting it beyond the app, to a wider audience. The app is also able to perform searches using images.
