MEET THE TEAM
Chad Harwood – Jones – Managing Director
With nearly a decade in the marketing industry behind him, where he initially specialised in selling database marketing solutions to FTSE 500 companies, Chad has focused his efforts online for the last five years. He set up a travel website business which he later sold and it was there that he discovered a passion for content-driven search campaigns. He founded Ad-Rank Media in early 2011 and has driven its growth ever since.
Chad is responsible for strategy, sales and marketing at Ad-Rank.
Outside of work Chad loves nothing more than socialising in the pub with his friends while watching a wide range of sports. This, travelling whenever possible, and bringing up his young son make him a very busy man.
Will O’Doherty – Content Marketing Manager
Writing has long been Will’s passion. He has worked as a digital content writer and journalist for an array of clients, from national newspapers to terrestrial television, price comparison sites to some of the UK’s leading golf clubs.
After years spent furiously typing away, Will has added editing and workflow management strings to his bow. He helps ensure Ad-Rank continues to create high-quality, high-performance content in a range of styles but with the same focus on accuracy and quick turnaround.
Will oversees content creation and quality at Ad-Rank.
Away from work, Will can mostly be found staring in estate agents’ windows, plotting his (entirely imaginary) property empire, and keeping everything crossed that Arsenal Football Club might actually win something this year. So he’s a blue-skies thinker.
Emma Harwood – Jones – HR & Finance Manager
For ten years Emma was a successful chartered surveyor specialising in the retail field. She joined Ad-Rank in the summer of 2012, bringing her exceptional communication and organisational skills to the team. Emma ensures the company adheres to best practice guidelines when it comes to all things HR. This and managing the company books keeps her suitable busy.
Emma is responsible for HR + Finance at Ad-Rank.
Outside of work Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves playing the saxophone, painting and riding horses.
Luke Dubuis – Creative writer
Having spent many years running reputable music blogs and websites in his time at University, Luke has considerable writing credentials. Having quickly moved onto editing printed media after graduating, he was first introduced to the world of SEO and content marketing through freelance work, where he quickly developed a knack for writing on a broad range of topics. Having graduated with a Masters in Philosophy, he has a great ability to problem solve and think creatively around any subject, no matter how obscure.
Luke is responsible for creating compelling content for brands, blogs and SEO.
On the weekend, Luke can often be found in the studio producing music or DJing around the UK.
Fiona Philip – Copywriter
Fiona has enjoyed a colourful career to date. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, she developed a broad range of skills in the marketing, PR, project and event management arenas. Now it is her love of writing that gets her springing out of bed in the mornings. Based in Singapore, Fiona joined Ad-Rank as a freelancer in January 2012 and now spends much of her time whipping up advertorials, newsletters, brochures and website copy and satisfying a curious appetite for proofreading and editing.
In her spare time, Fiona loves spending time with her husband and son, a rambunctious toddler. She has a passion for travelling – living in Singapore, she is lucky enough to be working her way through the countries of South East Asia. Fiona is a keen reader, avid cook and enthusiastic photographer.
